The Opportunity

The Head of Affiliates & Agents owns CoinPoker's partner acquisition and the teams behind it. Affiliates are the engine, and the mandate is to build the program into one of the platform's largest sources of new players. The role owns both programs end to end, decides which model fits which market, and is judged on the rake those partners produce against what they cost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own partner acquisition strategy and P&L across both programs, deciding which model fits which market and how resource is split between the two as priorities shift.

• Own the agent program end to end, covering market selection, agent recruitment and vetting, tiering, commission structure, downline visibility, settlement and dispute handling, performance management, and the removal of agents who do not meet the standard.

• Open new markets, diagnosing where affiliate penetration is blocked and by what, then building agent networks where that is the right answer and blending the two models where a market requires both.

• Own the affiliate program end to end, from recruitment and deal negotiation through activation, account management, and portfolio expansion, running a continuous test pipeline into new sources, geos, and deal structures with clear scale or kill decisions.

• Own deal structure and terms across both programs, including CPA, revenue share, hybrid, and tenancy, setting the defaults that protect the downside and knowing when a partner justifies breaking them.

• Lead, build, and develop the affiliate and agent teams, setting structure, targets, and standards across both and hiring against market need.

• Manage the portfolio on player quality and risk, holding every partner and agent to net rake and cohort retention, reducing revenue concentration across the top partners, and working with payments, fraud, and VIP on credit exposure and the removal of partners that damage the economics.

• Own the reporting framework for both programs and run the performance reviews that convert it into deal, market, and partner decisions.

• Report to senior management on channel revenue, cost per net rake dollar, market penetration, and partner acquisition's contribution to commercial objectives.

Highly Desired Knowledge and Experience:

• Hands-on experience with agent networks, including how commission structures are built, how downlines are tracked, and how settlement and disputes are handled in practice.

• Judgment on when agents are the right answer and when they are not, defensible on the underlying barrier of payments, liquidity, or reach rather than on what competitors are doing.

• Awareness of grassroots acquisition routes and the people who control them, including social and private poker communities, local card rooms, private game organisers, and local networks with existing player trust.

• Deep affiliate expertise in poker or casino, with a proven track record of growing a program in scale rather than maintaining an inherited one, covering partner recruitment across SEO and content sites, comparison and review sites, streamers and creators, and community sources including Discord, Telegram, and private groups.

• Commercial and analytical discipline as a core strength. Judges partners on net rake and cohort retention rather than registrations or deposits, models deal profitability before signing, and specifies the reporting needed rather than waiting for BI to supply it.

• Demonstrated experience building and leading commercial teams, setting targets, holding people to them, and developing managers rather than only managing accounts personally.

• Poker literacy, ideally from an operator that ran affiliate and agent models alongside each other, with a working grasp of rake, liquidity, and what actually drives player value in poker as distinct from casino.

• Strong command of tracking and attribution, including postbacks, deduplication, and reconciliation between partner-reported and platform-recorded activity.

• Alert to partner-side risk and abusive traffic, including bonus abuse, incentivised signups, and inflated agent downlines, with the instinct to interrogate a cohort that looks too good and the willingness to cut a partner on quality rather than wait for the numbers to prove it.
